ABOUT ME
Júlia Antunes Requião
Born in Rio de Janeiro and deeply passionate about the performing arts, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Instituto Villa-Lobos – UNIRIO (2019). My career spans roles as an agent and as an executive and artistic producer for cultural events, with a primary focus on opera and concert music in Brazil.
My educational background includes a technical certification in Stage Lighting from IATEC (2016) and completion of the Sala Cecília Meireles Managers Program (2021), equipping me with a broad understanding of both creative and operational aspects of a production.
I specialize in strategic consulting for Brazilian cultural incentive laws and funding mechanisms, guiding projects through planning, submission, and financial reporting. Additionally, I bring expertise in process modeling and contract management for national and international clients, fostering collaborations with esteemed institutions in Brazil and abroad.
Throughout my career, I have contributed to major productions at leading cultural venues, including Theatro São Pedro, Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, and Sala São Paulo. My work spans technical logistics, artistic production, and coordination for diverse performances—from grand productions like Ariadne auf Naxos, I Capuleti e i Montecchi, and West Side Story and also intimate chamber concerts.
Currently, I serve as an agent for opera singers with ArteMatriz, a São Paulo-based agency. In this role, I liaise with prominent theaters across Brazil, Latin America, and Europe, managing schedules, contracts, and administrative tasks, having participated in over 200 negotiations to date.
